（一）性别结构
在819个被调查者中，男性占54.0%。女性占46.0%。男性人数稍多于女性，但男女性别分布总体来说比较均衡。
（二）文化程度
在828份有效问卷中，高中/中专/技校/职高学历的被访者，占32.4%。大专学历被访者，占22.5%。本科及以上学历被访者，占18.2%。初中学历被访者，占23.9%。而小学及以下学历被访者，只占3.0%。由此，在本次调查中，广州新生代产业工人学历大多是高中以上学历，初中以下低学历的新生代产业工人则只占很小比重。
(三)月均收入
调查发现，接近六成广州市新生代产业工人的月平均收入集中于1501-3000元之间（57.5%）。其中，月均收入为1501-2000元，占28.8%；月均收入为2001-3000元，占28.7%。月均收入在1000元以下的新生代产业工人，只占4.8%。月均收入在5000元以上的高收入新生代产业工人，占6.9%。
（四）外出务工时间
在825份有效问卷中，42.3%被访者务工时间为1-3年；21.8%被访者务工时间为4-6年；外出务工时间不满1年的被访者，占17.5%；18.4%被访者外出务工超过7年。
四、调查结果
本次调查重在了解广州市新生代产业工人的精神文化生活现状。具体将新生代产业工人精神文化生活操作化，可以分为以下四大维度，分别是：社会融入、困境分析、闲暇娱乐及活动、精神文化消费四个方面。本次的调查结果，也将从这四个方面展开分析。
